By default shortened links inherit the META Title, Description and Image from the target URL. With Custom Social Previews you can overwrite these values to control how your links show up social media and in messenger apps that display Social Previews. URL parameter forwarding means that you can add or overwrite the URL paramters that are part of the shortened LONG_URL, by adding them to the LINK.
